Isn't 34 Years Warning Enough?

While Nixon was pressing his fascist agenda in the early 1970s, he no doubt missed the signs of real problems that were all too clear to free-minded Americans. Jimmy Page and Robert Plant in 1971:

How does a Republican respond to this kind of prescient advice? By passing the Controlled Substances Act, so they couldn't get weed anymore.
