Pretty ordinary
One of the quaint Australian expressions I love is "pretty ordinary." It doesn't mean ordinary or average. It means "it sucks." The Oakland Raiders would be "pretty ordinary" to an Australian. John McCain's campaign was "pretty ordinary."
