Campaign for Liberty: Graham fears an "unholy alliance" between anti-war Republicans and Democrats that would derail Congressional support for the war.
As someone who's been playing Lucky Pierre between John McCain and whatever Democrat will cough up the $2 entry fee, Lindsey would know a little bit about unholy alliances.
Maybe it's because Lindsey just wants a reason to keep going back to Afghanistan.
Not that there's anything wrong with that.

I tend to align with pre-9/11 Bush. We can't afford, and our military is not designed for, multiple simultaneous nation building exercises around the world.
Let's get in, kill the bad guys, and get out. If the bad guys come back in a few years, another quick hit will cost far less in American lives and treasure than a perpetual presence.
