De-fund NPR now!

We had a little local run-in with NPR last year when the local affiliate, KPBS, thought it might be cute to ask, "Are Tea Partiers Hate Groups [sic]?"

Now the head honchos at NPR tell us what they really think of both the Tea Party and Republicans:

"Radical", "racist", "Islamophobic", "xenophobic", "white", "middle-America", "gun-toting" and a couple more "racist" just to make sure the liberal-Left pejorative tool box had been completely emptied.

Why are tax dollars still going to fund this arrogant, elitist, slandering, and blatantly partisan organization? But the bigger question is, why does America have a state-sponsored media in the first place?
