Don't kid yourself. The obvious first modification will be the addition of a low cost, government mandated and subsidized public option, which the majority of the citizenry will immediately opt for.
Dems have publicly said this bill is just the beginning. They will very soon attempt to add the public option as they are granting Amnesty to millions of new Dem voters. They will also be adding the "doctor fix" which will cost even more money.
