10 Days Until the Schwarzenegger Tax Hikes Expire!

On this first day of summer and longest day of the year, we have something else to celebrate: the end of the vile Schwarzenegger tax hikes. Schwarzenegger raised car taxes, income taxes, and sales taxes in a craven move to make friends among legislative Democrats and state employee unions.

The income tax expired Jan. 1, and you'll notice that difference when you file your taxes next year. The car tax and sales tax increases expire July 1.

And thank goodness for Governor Jerry Brown, who has vowed not to increase taxes without a vote of the people! If asked, of course, the people would vote down another tax increase by a 2-to-1 margin like they did two years ago when asked the exact same thing on Prop 1A.

The people of California must want higher taxes, they voted for Brown.

Happy Super Tuesday!
