I don't think McL is endorsing that view; he's just observing that that's what the sheeple want.
Good point. But he did say Freedom is the most overrated story of 2009. Still, nothing here proves he endorses that view. Post adjusted accordingly.
He's taking a jab. Calling it 'nanny state' is not complementary. He's ripping on the laziness and lack of understanding of what the population desires.
